"1/4 cup honey OR agace nectar",
"1 tbsp corn starch OR 2 tbsp arrow root starch",
"3/4 cup water (divided into 1/2 and 1/4)",
"citrus zest",
"1/2 tbsp citrus juice"

"Place berries + 1/2 cup water + sweetener + citrus juice + citrus zest in pot",
"Bring to boil",
"Remove from heat",
"Mix starch into 1/4 cup water to create a slurry",
"Add starch slurry to mixture",
"Stir *gently* until sauce has thickened enough to coat back of spoon",
"Chill"

## Notes {#notes}
- You should be able to use any berry + citrus some recommendations:
- Blueberry + Lemon
- Raspberry + Lime
- You can use 1/2 cup white sugar instead of honey or agave nectar
- This freezes good and keeps awhile in the fridge
