# Base Firmware Setup

The ```PiFrame``` uses Ubuntu Linux at its core.

There are a lot of documents online on how to flash Ubuntu to an sd card for the Raspberry Pi 4.

**Please Note: You'll want the most recent LTS 64bit server version of Ubuntu for your PiFrame**
