Investigate detection when humans are present to dynamically turn on/off the display. This can NOT be a ultrasonic sensor, we shall NOT risk a pet/animal suffering due to motion detection electronics.

Given the software, hardware and cost difficulties related to 'human detection' this issue is being closed as 'wontfix' for the time being.

If anyone wants to pick up this torch later, a new sub-project will be spun off as this is a wholly optional and difficult problem to solve.
